The Nigerian Army has again recorded another resounding victory over Boko Haram insurgents during another attempt to capture Maiduguri.

Sahara Reporters made it known that the Troops who were
from the 7th Division of the Nigerian Army in Maiduguri
made members of the insurgent to hands down during a
showdown in Maiduguri, the Borno State capital, yesterday.
Reports have it that the soldiers stationed in Konduga
yesterday repelled an attack by Boko Haram fighters who
tried once again to capture the town as a gateway to
Maiduguri.
It is worthy to note that the Nigerian troops have in recent
times recorded a remarkable upper hand against the Boko
Haram insurgents as the force has been having a
remarkable victory on the terror group who have launched
no fewer than four attacks on Konduga.
Hundreds of insurgent fighters have died in the battles and
Nigerian soldiers have also seized vehicles and armored
personnel carriers from the terrorist group. The insurgent
group had captured most of the weaponry and hardware in
previous battles with ill-motivated and ill-equipped Nigerian
security forces.
