Arnold Schwarzenegger celebrated his son's 22nd birthday the best way he knows, with an intense early morning workout.
The 68-year-old woke up his son Patrick at the crack of dawn on Friday to celebrate the milestone.
The bodybuilder and his son hit the gym and pumped some iron while they both took to Instagram to mark the occasion.
'My dad woke my a** up at 7 am this morning for a birthday workout,' Patrick posted along with a humorous pic flexing some muscle.
The photo depicts Miley Cyrus' ex trying to look tough, pulling up his sleeve and showing some fierce biceps.
The pic is actually a screen grab from a video Arnold posted on his own Instagram account.
The proud papa gushed, 'I never thought 22 years ago that I would have a son that would one day be not only smarter than me, but stronger than me. Wow. Congratulations, Patrick.'
Patrick's dad wasn't the only parent honoring his special day.
'M-Dog did the opposite and had 22 banana pies for my bday waiting for me when I got back from my workout,' he posted on instagram of his mother, Maria Shriver.
