The entire annual budget, of which the wage bill will be only a part, of many clubs is not much more than the €20m earned in one season by Ronaldo and Messi.
At Levante and Rayo it is around €22m.
At Eibar it is only €18m. And while Sporting are yet to announce figures for this season, in last year's second division campaign their budget was €8m.
More than half the players in the top division are earning less than €500,000 a season.
