Mr Popular Mario Balotelli poses with a traffic warden

Liverpool striker Mario Balotelli's maverick reputation shows no signs of letting up as he posed for a photograph with an on-duty traffic warden.

The 24-year-old Italy international, who has been told he can leave Liverpool this summer, following a paltry goal return last season, posted the image on his official Instagram account with the caption, 'WAS HIS FAULT...parking tickets boy!'

The traffic warden seemed to take it in his stride, however, sporting a wide smile from ear to ear.
