Pirates killed 4 people and kidnapped 6 in Nembe waters, Nembe LGA, Bayelsa State.
The 2 separate incidents reportedly occurred Friday, October 24.
The hoodlums operating a speedboat seized an escorting gunboat belonging to the Nigerian Agip Oil Company (NAOC), killed its driver and 3 policemen, the source said.
In another development 6 employees of and oil servicing company Icon Xearex were abducted at Oluasiri in Nembe.
