Laurent Blanchas called for Paris Saint-Germainto be aggressive when they come up against Barcelonain the Champions League on Tuesday.
The Ligue 1 champions have had a slow start to the season, having kicked off the Ligue 1 campaign with just three wins and five draws from eight matches as well as sharing the spoils with Ajax in their European opener.
But Blanc believes that - even without the injured Zlatan Ibrahimovic- his players have what it takes to get the better of Barca, who eliminated the French giants from the quarter-finals of the competition two seasons ago.
"We must have a good performance and that is possible if we can be more aggressive and determined," the coach told reporters.
"The philosophy of Barcelona is to have the ball and to be dangerous. This is what I want for PSG as well. So we will meet our teachers - they have played like that for 40 years and we are happy to face them.
"It is an amazing game to play for everyone, for all those who love football. We must have a great performance by sticking to our philosphy and being consistent, determined and aggressive when the other team has the ball.
"I will be satisfied if we can manage to beat Barcelona individually and collectively on Tuesday."
