Herbalist Buries Alive Ex-Customs Officer, Her Daughter

A 65-year-old herbalist, Alhaji Olatunji Azeez, who buried alive a retired Customs officer and her 10-year-old daughter in one of the rooms in his house, claimed it was the devil who did this gruesome deed.
As the victims – Mrs. Angela Kerry, a 64-year-old retired Customs officer, and her 10-year-old daughter, Obiaguluman – got missing on May 10, the family spent three weeks searching for them before eventually reporting to the police on June 13. The family revealed that Angela's car, a Honda Accord, had a tracking device.
Thus, the detectives tracked the car and found out that Mr. Olatunji sold it. He was arrested and after six days in custody he took police detectives to his personal house in Ire Akari Crescent, Ajuwon Akute, Ogun State, where the decomposing bodies of the woman and her daughter were found in a well dug inside a room.
According to head of the SARS team, Abba Kyari, the suspect hired the services of professional well diggers to dig a well in his room. He covered the hole with a mat and white cloth. Then he lured the woman to the spot for prayers. When Mrs. Angela Kerry and her daughter fell into the trap, Mr. Olatunji filled up the well with the sand, burying them alive.(Story continues below)

A trado medical doctor said that diseased Angela was brought to his clinic by her friend six years ago."She had a spiritual attack also known as ofa in Yoruba. It is sent by evil people, in form of an evil arrow. Her body will turn black and will be itching her ceaselessly,"the suspect said.
He claimed that it was her unquenchable desire for a biological child that led to her death."She was never married and does not have children but along the line, she adopted a girl. This did not satisfy her quest for a child. She was more than 60 years then."
The diseased payed the suspect about N10 million to get pregnant at her age. However, later disappointed that his medicine had failed her, Alhaji Olatunji claimed that Angela demanded a refund. That's when the evil plan came to Mr. Olatunji's head.
He blamed evil spirits sent by his enemies as the ones responsible for his ordeal."I want the family to forgive me. If you see my heart, you will understand. I couldn't even sleep in the house. This kind of thing has never happened to me before. If you ask anybody around there who I am, they will tell you. My job is to heal. It's the devil. I didn't do it with my normal mind."
