Real Madrid are among several teams interested in Liverpool full-back Alberto Moreno and it would be "a joy" if they made an offer, according to his agent Javier Moya.
Moreno admitted he was "angry" to be kept on the fringes of the first team under Brendan Rodgers earlier this season but he has become the Reds' first-choice left-back under Jurgen Klopp.
His performances have led to links with Madrid, who could look to strengthen their defence in January on the back of an injury crisis which has sidelined the likes of Marcelo, Sergio Ramos, Raphael Varane and Dani Carvajal.
"It's logical that they ask about such an important player," Moya told Radio 4G.
"They are asking about him. Important teams from Spain and other places are asking.
"If a team like Real Madrid speak with us and Liverpool are satisfied with the operation, they could talk. If a team with the substance of Real Madrid makes an offer, it would be a joy for him.
"It's difficult. Everyone knows the importance of Real Madrid but Liverpool have five European Cups. You have to give the first step to Liverpool."
Despite the attraction of a return to La Liga, Moya insists Moreno is once again enjoying life at Anfield after returning to the fold.
"He loves it," he said.
"He's getting to know another culture and playing in one of the most important leagues. And, above all, he's in the first team."
