Kane equals Ronaldo's player of the month feat

Tottenham striker Harry Kane has
been named the Premier League's
player of the month for February, while
West Brom boss Tony Pulis has
picked up the manager of the month
award.
The 21-year-old, who is expected to be named in Roy Hodgson's
upcoming England squad, scored four goals in three games in
February, including a double in the 2-1 win over Arsenal at White Hart
Lane.
Kane is also the first player to win the award in consecutive months
since Cristiano Ronaldo for Manchester United in 2006 - a feat also
achieved by Dennis Bergkamp and Robbie Fowler.
"I'm very happy," Kane told the Premier League's official website.
"To win it once a year is great, let alone twice in two months. For me,
the Arsenal game was the highlight of February. To score twice and to
get that late winner was incredible.
"This season has happened so fast but I've always believed in
myself. I just had to take my chance and thankfully I've done that."
With two goals as many Premier League games in March, Kane could
also become the first ever player in the Premier League to win the
award three months in a row.
"To make history would be special. I've scored a couple of goals this
month and there are still a few more games to go so hopefully I will
be able to get a few more goals and we will see what happens. I am
looking forward to the games ahead," the Tottenham striker added.
Meanwhile, Pulis picks up his award after guiding West Brom to two
wins and two draws February, and the club now sit eight points above
the relegation zone.
"I'm very happy and honoured," the Baggies boss said. "Since I came
to the club everyone has made me feel welcome: that's the players,
the training ground staff and, most importantly, the fans.
"What we need to do now is make sure we finish the season on a
high."
